Fiona and Joey had a litter born 2-11-25

Pups will be ready to go home about 4-8-25

Mom and Dad -

Princess Fiona of Far Far away "Fiona" is the Mom, a red cocker

The Joey Casanova "Joey" is the Dad, a parti with red markings cocker

 

This was our hardest litter in our 20 years of breeding. Fiona had a heavy green discharge, but not pushing. Rushed to the vet, confirmed labor but couldn't push. She was given emergency c-section which confirmed the first pup was still causing the issue. Sadly this pup lead to an infection in her uterus. While she came out of surgery, she soon after had white gums, going into shock while still at the vet. They did all they could but couldn't save her. This is our first time losing a mom during labor, and the pain it brought with it is incredible. Thankfully Java was also due to have pups. She has adopted Fiona's babies and is helping to feed and care for them. This page will show Fiona's babies, and new pup litter 3 tab will show Java with her babies and both litters together. These pups had their first checkup at our vet, tails were docked and dew claws removed. New pictures will be taken at about 4 weeks old along with pictures of their first meal!
