Hi everyone! I’m a famous red head – my name is Princess Fiona of Far Far Away. I might have borrowed that name from someone guy named Shrek… Anyhow, I’m an original orlandocockers pup, born right here on 1\/22\/20! My Mom Daisy retired right after she had me and my siblings as she was 6 years old. And my Dad is Bandit. You can find pictures of my parents below. I look just like my Mommy Daisy – check out the pictures below!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was in a litter of 7 pups, all cute, but I think I was the cutest!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 6 weeks I was a regular at the photo studio, bring on that camera!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ll be a mommy once I’m much older – until then I’ll hang out with the crew here. Lots of toys to chew on, lots of toes to try to chew on… A day in the life of a puppy at Orlandocockers!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Fiona has turned three years old now<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadly Fiona passed at just 4 years old. This was our hardest litter in our 20 years of breeding. Fiona had a heavy green discharge, but not pushing. Rushed to the vet, confirmed labor but couldn’t push. She was given emergency c-section which confirmed the first pup was still causing the issue. Sadly this pup lead to an infection in her uterus. While she came out of surgery, she soon after had white gums, going into shock while still at the vet. They did all they could but couldn’t save her. This is our first time losing a mom during labor, and the pain it brought with it is incredible. How we miss our bouncing and loving girl Fiona. We still think of her very often! When she would swim with us, she would always put her arms around my neck, giving me a hug from behind. My sweet baby girl, we are so very very sorry we ever let you have pups. Our vet said the odds of this happening is very slim, but we just wouldn’t take a chance knowing this could happen. It will be a very very long time before this pain goes away.
