Petite Princesse Soleil Lulu - "LuLu"

 

Hi, my name is Lulu! I'm a super unique black tipped sable with the merle gene! Yup that is one blue eye on my left side, just like my Mom who is also a merle. I was born January 23, 2023! My mom is a chocolate sable merle, with tan markings. Dad is a solid red. When you mix a primarily chocolate to a red cocker, you get black! However I also received the sable and merle gene from my Mom. That is how my unique color came to be!

 

My personality - I'm little miss Independent with a bit of Sass! I love to play with my hoomans, but my stuffy bear is my most prized possession! I know what I want and when I want it. I think my personality fits my amazing colors just right!

That's me and my sister Molly after we were just born. We weren't even dry yet!

My mom was tired after her labor. She took a nap while we settled in and had a snack!

Me and my sister grew fast. Here we are at a week old after having our tails docked.

 

Before you know it, we are 6 weeks old. And now we can stand, run around and eat from our bowls!

At about 4 months old, the sable color is really showing up. The black on top changes to be primarily on my sides and face. Sable cockers coats change all thru their lives! Add the merle gene in to get a twist on that!

This is my fantastic coat at about 6 months old. Look at all the sable, and of course the merle color too!

I'll be a future mom with Orlandocockers when I'm older. For now I'll just enjoy my puppyhood!
